Bucks secure last gasp win in KwaMashu

A 90th minute goal secured Mthatha Bucks a hard-fought 2-1 victory over AmaZulu at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.


Amathol’amnyama had scored first, but a 80th minute equaliser seemed set to ruin their day until Kangwa popped up with the winning goal.

The victory was a first for new head coach Ian Palmer and ended a run of three consecutive draws, while the team is unbeaten in their last 11 league outings.

An injured Hlubi has made way for Klaas in the 82 min. Mokoena also received a yellow card. Bucks have now received 4 yellow cards.
