Mthatha Bucks announce partnership deal and new signings

Mthatha Bucks have confirmed the arrival of five new players signed in the January transfer window, as well as the appointment of head coach Ian Palmer, and a partnership agreement with African Bank.
The announcements took place at a press conference held at the Mthatha Stadium on Wednesday morning.
The earlier acquisitions of Sibusiso Hlubi (CT All Stars), Sydney Masana (Bloemfontein Celtic) and Madumetja Khwinana (Royal Eagles), as well as the new head coach, the vastly experienced Ian Palmer, were reconfirmed.
In addition, Amathol'amnyama have snapped up Nkululeko Buthelezi (pictured in the back row, second from left), a central midfielder from the Kaizer Chiefs Development ranks, and Terrence Mashego (back row, middle of pic), a left-back from Tshwane University of Technology.
The following players have meanwhile been released: Siphelele Jonasi, Tapelo Sixishe, Moreko Mokone, Ruwan Xundu and Qiniso Mahlobo. The club thanks them for their services and wishes them well for the future.
In a very positive development for the club and for football in the region, Bucks welcomed on board our new partners in African Bank. A year-long official partnership has now begun with a view to a fully-fledged sponsorship.
