Bucks Boost Squad with Treble Signing
9 January 2016

Mthatha Bucks Football Club can confirm the mid-season arrivals of three players: Sibusiso Hlubi, Sydney Masana and Madumetja Khwinana.

Hlubi (pictured middle) and Masana (left of pic) both return for a second spell with Amathol’amnyama and should be able to hit the ground running.

The 22-year-old Hlubi is back from a stint down at Cape Town All Stars, while 27-year-old striker Masana rejoins Bucks on loan from Bloemfontein Celtic.

Khwinana (right of pic) has spent the last two seasons at KZN NFD side Royal Eagles. Like Hlubi, he can operate as both a winger and a full-back and at only 21-years-old, is another bright prospect.

“The new signings will give Head Coach Ian Palmer more options across the park. We are optimistic that the three players will prove to be very useful additions to the squad and that they will help the team build on what was a promising start to the season,” said the club’s General Manager, Luxolo Matikinca.

Our first match after the AFCON break is on February 11 when we host Jomo Cosmos.
