Mthatha Bucks secured a massive three points with a 3-0 win over high-flying Milano United at the Mthatha Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

On a scorching hot afternoon, Amathol’amnyama were in charge from the outset, Qiniso Mahlobo testing the visiting keeper Lee Langeveldt early on.

Bucks went in front on 15 minutes when Thabiso Mokoena converted from the spot after Mahlobo was fouled by Toriq Fielies.

Gregory Roelf then hit the bar for Milano, before both Mahlobo and Andile Njokweni did likewise for the Eastern Cape team.

Njokweni continued to be a danger, and he brought out a good save from Langeveldt, who made a point blank save on the hour mark.

Njokweni was however to make no mistake on 68 minutes when he rounded the keeper before scoring.

The final goal came 10 minutes from time - Mashale Rantabane scoring with a late header for the third goal after Mahlobo's shot had hit the bar.
