Match Preview: Mthatha Bucks v AmaZulu
4 February 2016

2016 has so far brought a mix bag of results for Mthatha Bucks, having experienced some disappointments on the road, Amathol'amnyama return home looking to turn their fortunes around against 8th placed AmaZulu.

Our short-term quest to get out of the relegation zone continues this Sunday as we gear-up for a crunch encounter against an in-form Usuthu at Mthatha Stadium.

The KZN-based side has made their intentions of the returning to the elite quite clear this transfer window having beefed up their striking departing, and head into Sunday's match on the back of a 5-0 home win.

Amathol'amnyama on the other hand go into the clash a bit wounded having suffered a 3-2 away defeat along with missing influential defender Mashale Rantabane who will be serving his one match suspension.

Bucks though will draw strength having not tasted a home defeat in our last four matches played, beating the likes of Cape Town All Stars and former PSL side in Moroka Swallows.

The boys will also draw strength from our first round match against the AmaZulu where we conceded a second half penalty, but showed great character to equalise in stoppage time.
